Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the academic experience of the students of the Tecnológico Universitario Espíritu Santo according to the model set out in the ISO 10004:2018 Standard "Quality management - Customer satisfaction - Monitoring and measurement guidelines", regarding the classes taught in virtual mode in the careers of Business Management during the pandemic. For which we proceeded to initially conduct an exploratory research to identify the aspects that affect the academic experience of a student, once these aspects were identified, we proceeded to conduct a quantitative, non-experimental and descriptive research, conducted to a sample of 150 students who took at least one subject of the Business Management careers, the instrument used was validated with the contribution of several teachers so that the evaluated criteria are relevant to the research. Finally, as a main result, it became evident that there is an important percentage of students who can be categorized as fans of the academic experience; but there are several performance characteristics that can be improved and latent opportunities that can be incorporated to increase student satisfaction.
